Just a quick blog.

Hi peep's, not been on my space for a while so thanks for popping by with your comments and pics it's good to see my space is still here after all that time, it go's so quickly. Well here's a quick blog to let you know that every thing is ok. I have just been busy with the house and kid's and any free time I have spent making planes. I have been trying to get into and understand some of the new things available. The model airplane world has really changed over the last couple of years with new technologies. I have not been in the local club for a while so I have been getting everything ready to go flying again with bigger planes. The small electric ones I have played around with over the last couple of years are now are now old fashioned compared to the new ones I have been building. The radio and motors available now really have moved on. I will blog some of it at time's.

Anyway thank's again peep's and I will get around to your spaces soon. Keep in touch. from Spence.

The Saturday Rant. Whats up with your profile images..

Well peeps have you noticed the amount of new spacers who have not uploaded there profile picture. Its quite suprizing, its simple to do. I have explained the simple steps for using a profile module in my using spaces list. If you have problems getting a profile picture of yourself into your pc or something then just search around on google or image websites like bigoo ws or messenger freaks ect. and use a suitable image, practically anything will do. Just right click over the image and then "save picture as" in the falldown. You can then save the image to your PC picture folder. You can then click on browse when editing your profile and upload the picture you found.
There are lots of well established spaces who have only used images for there profile. such as Marcel of world live spaces, Myself, and One live alien to mention a few.

It is important to use an image in your profile or

Trend Micro,.. House Call,..Free anti virus application.

Here is a good anti virus software you can run on your PC for free.

After visiting my pc security centre. I ended up looking at various anti virus software options. I visited the home page of one of them and found a free anti virus scan. "Trend Micro House call". It will check if your pc is compatible as you go through the steps to scan your pc. The software is compatible with windows defender but don’t run the two software’s together. The scan will take quite a long time. You may then be prompted to take a full scan . This is also free and part of House Call. "Click Here" or the logo below to visit Trend Micro and try House call.

Trend Micro™ HouseCall is an application for checking whether your computer has been infected by viruses, spyware, or other malware. HouseCall performs additional security checks to identify and fix vulnerabilities to prevent reinfection.

Deleting invited friend's a little quicker.

Here is a way of deleting invited friends from your friends list. If you have one or two its ok deleting them but if you have lots then it can take a long time. This way can save a lot of time when you get used to it.
When you edit your friends module you will have a view of all on the left hand sidebar, click on "invited"

You will then have a view of just your invited friends.

"Right" Click on the pencil icon.

In the falldown click on open in new window

This will open another window to edit the friend.

Click on "Delete from friends list"

You can now delete the friend.

you will have a view of all friends again in the new window.

Close this window and you are back on the first window "Invited"

Choose the next invited friend, "Right" click on the icon then open in new window, then Delete, then close the window. then choose the next one and so on. The view of invited friends will not change untill you refresh the page. (right click and then refresh) or click on the refresh button

Now the friends you deleted will be gone from the page. you will still be on the invited page so just carry on deleting them.

It's a little quicker because you can delete the friend in the second window and then close it before it reloads. if you remove 20 invited friends in this way you can more or less save the time of 20 pages loading.

Here is a quick way of getting a permalink. When you have made some blog's and you want to link them into your list modules. Scroll down your space to the blog you want to link to and then "Right" Click over the permalink at the bottom of the blog entry.
